Apparently this topic only netted 66% of the vote from high school debate coaches. I don't know what the other options were, but unless they were along the lines of "Resolved: IKEA is Swedish for furniture maze store," I think I would've voted for the alternative. Too similar to the 2008 Nationals topic:
June 2008 (NFL Nationals) - Resolved: US policies established after September 11, 2001 have substantially reduced the risk of terrorist acts against the United States.
Can't we get something related to professional sports and collective bargaining?
